A fleet of 52 yellow school buses - with 4,368 empty seats to represent the number of children killed this year by gun violence - parked up to resemble an assault rifle. The buses will form a mile-long procession to Senator Ted Cruz’s house in Houston, Texas.

#2 Gymshark launches ‘safe space’ barber shop
Gymshark are offering men the chance to have a free trim in a “non-judgemental safe space” this week. The ‘Deload’ salon hopes to encourage men to talk about their mental health in a comfortable environment. In their own research, they found that whilst men find it difficult talking about how they are feeling, they are often more inclined to confide in their barbers.
#3 Iceland supermarket creates ‘Chill Out Zone’ to soothe sweltering shoppers
In response to soaring temperatures across the UK the store manager of a London branch of Iceland supermarket is offering customers the chance to escape the heat in a customer ‘chill-out zone’ in the freezer aisle. The installation includes deckchairs, a cooling spray and complimentary ice lollies. The phenomenon of customers flocking through the doors of the frozen food retailer during hot spells has been well observed by Iceland store managers over the years. Shoppers have been known to pop in for a few minutes to cool down with an icy blast from the in-store aircon or momentarily opening a freezer cabinet door for some sub-zero respite.
